Quality Care Within A "Home From Home" Environment

Staff

Registered providers Mrs Sonia Ghai and Mrs Renu Khoshla, have been registered to The Troc Care Home for 5 years. Sonia is also the proud owner of other care homes within the Midlands.

Manager Claire Edwards has many of years’ experience working in the Care sector.

Starting working with vulnerable adults with learning disabilities including challenging behaviours. Claire then went on to work with individuals with complex needs who had suffered from a brain injuries, which included mental health, alcohol and drug misuse. Claire worked her way up through the company working in many roles, from senior, activities Co-ordinator, deputy manager, and running the home when cover was needed. Claire then had an opportunity to work start an exciting challenge and became area manager in residential care over seeing two large residential care homes. Claire soon missed the point of contact with residents and the hands on approach of delivering excellent standards of care,  Claire then moved to Manager The Troc Care Home.

“I feel very passionate and hands on in delivering high standards of care insuring the best quality of life for the residents, throughout my career the experience has been invaluable to my knowledge and education and I feel now I am Manager of the Troc this knowledge and experience can be shared ensuring the staff are well trained, supported and given guidance to enable them to look after your loved ones in a respectful, caring and empathic way”

High standards of care are consistently delivered to clients including dementia, sensory impairment and mental health.

Staff Numbers & Staff Training

The Troc Care Home employs 1 Manager, 1 deputy, 15 care assistants, 2 domestics, 2 cooks, 2 kitchen assistants, 1 maintenance person, 2 administers and 1 activity co-ordinator.

Care Shifts Are:

7.30am – 2.00pm
2.00pm – 8.30pm
8.30pm – 7.30am

                                                                                   

Kitchen & Laundry Staff Between:

7.30am – 2.00pm

All Staff are selected for qualities, experience and professionalism. References are checked thoroughly and training is ongoing for all staff.

NVQ’S Available

Our aim is to train all Care Assistants to at least NVQ level 2. Our training programme meets the CQC recommendations and also specific requirements for the Service Users needs.
